The Placenta has been used in TCM for centuries and has been featured in various editions of Chinese medical texts, including in the Materia Medica, as an herb known as zǐ hé chē (ze, HEU, cheu). This text states that the placenta warms the kidney channel, promotes qi absorption, supplements the essence, and nourishes the blood. The theory of TCM as it relates to childbearing people and the postpartum time is that people are depleted of qi following birth because they give off their own life
This method of placenta encapsulation skips the steaming step. This method has a higher hormone content and a higher microbial count. Some people find them very powerful, so the effects can be managed by the amount ingested (eg, take less if you are feeling overwhelmed or anxious). This preparation is well within safe food parameters when appropriate temperatures are used. Raw prep is useful for blood building and returning iron stores, especially in the early days after birth.
Steaming the placenta has a lower microbial count and may be the preferred method when GBS is present. They however do have a lower hormone concentration. Choosing this method many reports smoother, emotional transition and a stronger, more stable milk supply. Steaming the placenta does cause it to shrink in size, so I often expect that a steamed preparation will yield fewer capsules as a result.

Before the placenta encapsulation process begins, I can make a print on canvas paper in the placenta’s own blood or with colored food grade paints. Each placenta is so unique, and a print creates an artistic display of the specific features — veins, cord insertion, size, shape — that make up each placenta.
Add baby birth details to your placenta canvas print for a beautiful keepsake to hold onto forever.
Healing salve, which can be used on the perineum, cesarean scar, eczema, nipple cream, diaper rash, and lots of other skin woes, I collect stem cells from the cord before beginning the placenta encapsulation and use them to make an organic apricot oil infusion. This is combined with Organic beeswax, calendula oil, and a few drops of essential oil of choice (lavender, tea tree, Ylang-ylang) to make a customized jar of smooth, rich, healing salve or balm.
Calendula oil has antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties that may be useful in healing wounds, soothing eczema, and relieving diaper rash. It's also used as an antiseptic.
Apricot Oil helps to improve skin tone, maintain softness, reduces blemishes and fine lines. It does not clog pores, fast-absorbing, anti-aging, rich in antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory.
Organic Beeswax is anti-inflammatory, encourages the healing of wounds.
Basically the same as a balm/salve; however, the nipp-stick is compact, offers quick, easy use, and does not include placenta. Whether breastfeeding or pumping regularly, a mama’s nipples undergo a lot of abuse and often endure much pain. This is why high-quality, healing, soothing nipple butter is a necessity. This Nipp-stick is made with all Natural products, including; Beeswax, calendula oil, and apricot oil for soothing sore, dry, cracked nipples.
Placenta Tincture is made from a piece of the mother’s own raw placenta after birth, steeping in alcohol making a strong remedy over 6 weeks. It is said that placenta tincture is used for the healing and medicinal properties, emotional, mental, and psychological instability and may also be very beneficial for treating PMS and menopause.
If the raw method is not your preferred choice, we can also use the powder from your capsules in your tincture.
The umbilical cord that connected your new baby to your womb during the pregnancy played a key role in delivering nutrients and essential blood to your baby during gestation. To honor and treasure the umbilical cord it can be dehydrated into a lovely shape and kept for a lifetime.
Excellent for Postpartum Healing and Soreness after Child Birth
A combination of 7 healing and soothing herbs to help with healing and discomfort after childbirth. This ritual is not only important to heal mama's body after birth, but it also serves as a ceremony of self-love in giving back to herself after caring for her sweet newborn and one's self around the clock.
Also great to add to a peri bottle and use as a peri rinse after birth.
This oil is essential for all pregnant women in the third trimester. Peri Massage Oil supports tissue elasticity and integrity, allowing maximum stretch during the birthing process. Can also be used for body massage oil, and hydration oil.
This spray soothes skin, heals perineal trauma and tearing, and reduces the pain and inflammation of vaginal swelling and hemorrhoids. Once you're ready to use post-baby, keeping it refrigerated will help to increase the “cooling relief” of the aloe. I have found this formula also works amazing for cuts and scrapes, diaper rash and even helps reduce the swelling and irritation from razor burn.
Made with an organic blend of oils and herbs to help heal and soothe your perineam
Give yourself an instant feeling of freshness with this Natural Yoni Cleansing mist. Great to use for a quick refresh, after sex, or after a workout. Supports the natural acidity, and helps to prevent infection from yeast or bacteria.
All 100% natural organic Botanicals, Organic raw dead sea salt, Himalayan pink salts, Epson salts, Essential oils (Young Living), and Vitamin E oil. Made for a relaxing bath to help rid the stress and muscle aches many face after birth.
This is done after I have cleaned the placenta but before I have begun steaming or dehydrating it. Only a small cube is needed and the rest can be encapsulated. This is another great way to obtain the nourishment of a placenta while disguising any potentially unappealing taste. In general, consuming the placenta via a smoothie will retain the Placenta Opioid Enhancing Factor (POEF) this can be considered “nature’s morphine” as it can provide pain relief.
